Who are We? Where are We?
Early Story
How are we involved? Reflections
Source of our Strength
Friends of LSU News

Though we continue to be educators, we are now also engaged in many other diverse ministries, united in our endeavours to be compassionate, creative disciples of God Incarnate.

Still following Jesus Christ and called to be

“at the heart of the world revealing God’s love”
(Art. 1)

we seek to respond to the needs of a broken and divided world and thus participate in the Church’s mission of healing and reconciliation.

We respond to this call by engaging in:

Education ...Life-long Learning
Faith ...Spiritual and Human Development ...Formation
Ministering Pastorally in parish, in school, and in Prison
Nursing care, Community Development,
Work with Immigrants and Refugees

In our choice of ministry we seek to serve many of the most deprived of God’s people and to be present in those places

‘where injustice threatens women and children
and the integrity of creation’.

( General Chapter 1999)

As women strengthened
by our faith we are committed to work,
and to working with others,
to find new ways of challenging
unjust structures
and building community.
